“The Mission of the Lompoc Valley P.A.L. Is to reduce juvenile crime and delinquency by uniting law enforcement officers and the youth, through quality activities designed to develop discipline, self-esteem, mutual trust, and respect in the Lompoc Valley.”

Lompoc Valley PAL:

Lompoc Valley Police Activities League (PAL) is an organization in the Lompoc police department that seeks to foster a bond of mutual trust and understanding between police officers and the youth by enabling them to interact in a positive, non-confrontational setting.

Police officers from Vandenberg Air Force Base, United States Penitentiary, Federal Correctional Institution, California Highway Patrol and the Lompoc Police Department work side-by-side with young people who need their guidance.

Educational, cultural, and recreational activities are offered to the youth with an emphasis on reaching those “at risk.” P.A.L.’s long-term mission is to divert youth away from gangs and criminal activity by bringing them alternative activities under the care and supervision of trained police officers, recreation staff, and community volunteers.  P.A.L. offers activities such as basketball, boxing, softball, soccer, lifeguard training, computer and typing classes, rock wall climbing and much more!
