Junior Giants Off to see the SF Giants
1.Game is August 9th
2.Game time 7:15 it is a special game "Junior Giants Night Game"
3.Meet no later than 9:30 am at Mervyn's parking lot.
4.Departure is 11 am . We have allowed 2 extra hours of traveling due to the game taking place on a Friday and heavy traffic.
5.Bus will leave AT&T park by 11:15 p.m.

With such a successful season last year, the Junior Giants program was able to come back to Lompoc this year!!!! We are looking forward to seeing returning players as well as meeting new ones!!!

The 1st annual PAL golf tournament is here!
It will be held at the Vandenberg Village Country Club on Sunday April 7, 2013.
Check in is at 11am, and the 'shotgun' start is at 1230pm.
Early bird $100 registration ends March 22. After that, registration fee will be $125.
$60 for Village Country Club Member
$150 Tee Sign Sponsor

Last Tuesday, PAL Coordinator Kathy Hefferman and eight other employees of law enforcement, probation, and the prison system all took a little trip to Los Angeles, CA to be a part of the TV show The Price is Right.
This episode of The Price is Right was geared toward employees of the various fields of law enforcement. Kathy says that it was a great time.

Thanks to everyone who attended the Giants' Trophy Tour last night. It was a great success, and a pleasure seeing everyone there.

The San Francisco Giants are hosting a tour of their World Series Trophy, and yes it is coming to Lompoc, CA!
The Giants are touring their 2010 and 2012 World Series Trophies through California cities and towns that have hosted and participated in their Junior Giants Baseball League; Lompoc PAL will be hosting this special event on Feburary 13, 2013.

The Lompoc Valley Police Activites League and Lompoc Recreation Division have teamed up to host the 1st Annual Texas Hold 'Em Poker Tournament. This event will take place on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Dick DeWees Community and Senior Center.
The event is designed to provide accessible and affordable youth based recreation and crime prevention programs for the youth in the Lompoc Community.
